"This shop has two section. The ground floor sells noodles, while the second floor sells other dishes such as a la carte and rice dishes. We ate the noodles this time round. Overall, we had a lovely experience. The noodles had a nice texture - not too thick and chewable. Flavour wise, it was great! The soup was really flavourful and clear. For the dry noodles, there were multiple side dishes such as tomato eggs. All of them had a nice flavour profile that complemented the dish nicely. Portion sizes were really generous too."

"Second time coming here and I can say that they have consistently great food and portion sizes for a reasonable price. You order with a QR code and the service is quick and efficient. If you can't finish your food then you are able to take the rest home. I tried the lamb rib noodles this time which were lovely but the beef flank noodles are still my favourite. The dumplings had a good amount of filling and a nice dipping sauce."

"Noodles Home is easily one of the highlights of my trip to Edinburgh. I came here twice — once downstairs for the hand-pulled noodle soup with beef flank, and again upstairs for dumplings, skewers, and another round of soup. Both experiences were excellent. The beef flank noodle soup was rich, comforting, and full of flavor — I even added a fried egg, which made it even better. The hand-pulled noodles have that perfect chew, and the staff were kind enough to top up my broth when they saw I had more noodles left. That kind of care makes a huge difference. The dumplings (I tried chicken) were some of the best I’ve had — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. The upstairs menu had great variety too, so both levels are worth trying. If you want a spot that’s both delicious and authentic, this is it. I’d happily come back every time I visit Edinburgh."
